Our Property Locations
Germany
The Leverkusen location forms the centre of expertise for the Wilhelm Sander Foundation’s property management. What began as company housing built for Bayer employees has developed over decades into a significant portfolio. With a focus on value preservation, modernisation and strategic management, this location makes a substantial contribution to the stability of the foundation and the funding of cancer research.
Neustadt an der Donau is the birthplace of the Wilhelm Sander Foundation and today one of three administrative locations – for it was here that Wilhelm Sander lived, worked and ran his business. Following the move in 2025 to a historic building in the town centre, accounting and reporting functions are now managed from this significant location, connecting the life of the founder with the work of the foundation today.
The Munich location serves as the central management hub of the Wilhelm Sander Foundation. From here, research projects are carefully assessed and overseen, with a focus on innovative cancer research. The executive office and central reporting function are also based here.
Sander-Block
The Hamburg location is managed, maintained and sustainably developed by an external property management company. Through this structured stewardship, Hamburg makes an important contribution to long-term value preservation and forms the basis for funding cancer research.
The Berlin location is managed by an external property management company to ensure the long-term preservation of value. In this way, Berlin contributes to the stability of the foundation’s assets and provides a solid basis for the funding of medical research.
Switzerland
The Lucerne location forms an important part of the Wilhelm Sander Foundation’s Swiss real estate portfolio. The properties are professionally managed and maintained by an external management company, ensuring that their value is preserved over the long term and that the returns reliably contribute to supporting the foundation’s funding objectives.
